Recruiting farm workers

Farmers in the forum, where do you normally source your employees? The struggle is because this cadre of workers is not likely to be found on job-search sites etc.
I always find it a struggle to fill vacancies.
Case in point: I have an urgent vacancy for a person who is good with dairy animals, able to do some gardening etc and would appreciate referrals.

Getting good farm helps is really hard, as for me I normally use close friends and family to recommended people they know well and have experience working in a farm. But this time round I choose to get someone with no farm experience and train him how I want my farm run.
