What's this very worrying story in the Standard today?

Key points:
- On 25th Feb the US Federal Aviation Administration applied to have Kenya's airspace declared a conflict zone
- ‘Conflict Zones’ refer to airspace over areas where “armed conflict is occurring or is likely to occur between militarised parties.”

Has anyone heard about this?

Have there been recent developments in terms of security that haven't hit mainstream media?

On another note, being surrounded by countries on the list, Kenya needs to be diligent to ensure safety above her skies.

With friends like the USofA, why do you need enemies?

Life is short. Live passionately.

Not sure of your source, this would be American bullshit. Missiles have been raining down inside Telaviv airport not on the approach path but deep inside Ben Gurion and the last time AMERICAN airlines attemoted to stop flights politicians breathead fire. Egypt was at war they never had it declared a hostile airspace despite the downing of the Russian metrojet Washington should deal with the risk of drones to their airspace and deal with Trump leave Kenya alone
