@enyands - I recommend you don't read Annual Reports and Financial Statements. They are boring. Just stick to what the CEO/CFO/Chairman/PR tells you. It makes life easier.

@enyands, how about doing this with more grace? You are not normally a "juu juu" reader from most of your posts and so if you make a mistake once in a while which every one will do sooner or later, accept gracefully instead of "nimekubali yaaishe"

HSBC is British, it was founded in Hong Kong but for those who know the History of Hong Kong and Britain then we need not say more. yes they have their HeadQuaters in London, while their Expat HQ is right here in Jersey at the Esplanade. The KYC issue yes it's a pain infact Barclays UK and Barclays Wealth international from Thursday this week they actually did block their clients from accessing their funds both online and in Branch if they had not responded to the previous two attempts by the bank to complete or provide whatever KYC documentation they needed to complete Due Diligence. Compliance is a very vital for these kinds of multinationals.Back to Barclays i've made my Grand entry and i've gone very very long, so lets see what happens. I feel this stock has the capacity of doubling up in the course of the year.

This will be a game changer if it happens.

Will free Barclays from the strong arm and conservative sense of the UK mother-ship into the growth trajectory of the likes of KCB and Equity.

Other than the sale by the group company (of which the bank gets to keep the Barclays brand)what else has changed or might change that would affect it's fundamentals
