Nice dividend

Not so bad! I was ready for the worst.
Surprised at the dividend payout as well.

Business has not been the same for them in SS since a little known bank poached all their business and key staff. CFC might follow the same route as EABLi

I have watched the NSE for a while and especially the Bank Stocks and I cannot help but agree that exchanges are at times driven by sentiment as opposed to figures.

When the CFC CEO quit a while ago, everyone thought it was a sign of things to come and the market resorted to competition for NIC, Equity.
Good solid stocks like KCB stagnated and CFC even touched 71/- at one point.

IMO, even in the current bear run CFC is way under-valued. Despite the 14% drop it has a high PE and a consistently good Dividend Yield at the top end of the market.

The massive foreign (South African) shareholding of around 78% might also be playing a part on the sentiments surrounding this particular counter.

Surprisingly good results when one considers the drama faced by KCB [KES 6.1bn translation loss] in SS. Now let's see what Equity does.

Plus a jumbo spike in NPL's looks to be the norm for the banking sector led by Kcb...50% to be precise.
The main purpose of the stock market is to make fools of as many people as possible.

Stop besmirching @Obiero's name. We know how close Obiero is to the top and we should listen. And when @Obiero buys KQ, @VVS shall follow. @VVS shall sell all his KK and go all in with @Obiero on KQ. @VVS shall dine with @Obiero in Business Class on KQ.

Natural gas also boasts versatility, and can be used for a number of things including heating/cooling a home or business, heating water, cooking and drying clothes, powering pool pumps, and so on.When it comes to efficiency natural gas is hard to beat, 90 percent of the natural gas that enters the pipeline reaches the consumer, meaning a mere 10 percent of the energy is lost in the process, active business services.+
