I can't plan to hold any stock "FOR LIFE", however, in the slimmest of chances that i do, at the current prices, then they would be stocks in the energy sector, preferably the following;

1. KPLC at 13.00/-
2. KenolKobil at 8.10/-

Given other timelines (1yr, 2yrs, 5yrs and 10yrs), then the choices would be very different.

Best advice I've heard in a while.

Why is KCB such a favourite even above equity???

This question is exected from a new farer.. However, in general terms KCB has greater balance at the top and is apolitical.. several other reasons exists, but for me those are the top two

True @Obiero. Kcb is stable and has structures in position such that even if you change the CEO and a few managers, it'll run fairly smooth. Try do that to memba.......what @maichblack calls companies revolving around an individual.

I like Mwangi but unlike KCB where there are Term Limits, Equity is like Uganda. Since the question was about 'lifetime' stocks... I'd pick KCB over Equity but EABL & Bamburi over KCB.

@sparkly, I would be glad to but there were no details. A Genghis official gave me the info as I placed an order to sell UAP.
