ODM will launch a newspaper to fight regulation of mainstream media, which is "dancing to the tune of the government".

The weekly publication will be based on factual, objective and fair balance of stories focus on in-depth social, economic, political analysis and commentary, Director of Communications Philip Etale told the Star on Monday.

Etale said though launched by a political party, the paper will "not be like Kenya Times that used to sing songs of 'baba na mama'"

The launch will be held at the Louis Leakey Auditorium of The National Museum, Nairobi, on November 5, 2015.

The best way to launch a political media is to hide in the main stream ,edia and let that serve your needs, not coming out wazi wazi that it is for a given political wing. This way it faces resistance from the onset as the intentions are known, This is likely to fail
African parents don't know how to say sorry.. the closest you will get to a sorry is a 'have you eaten'

Very true. But when you have a loud mouth as chief editor, you are doomed to fail.
