An MP who has been in the news for all the wrong reasons, we have just learnt, has a bad record. The man used to be a mechanic somewhere on Ngong Road a few years ago. He then sold someone’s Mercedes Benz and fled to South Sudan, where he made money in unclear circumstances. The man then returned to the country before the last general election, claiming he was an engineer and successfully vied for a parliamentary seat. Since entering Parliament, he has continued to defraud people while boasting that he knows top people and nothing will happen to him.

The Mpig in question is Joe Mutambu mp for Mwingi Central. Joe Mutambu is a thug of great note. This guy has evolved from a mechanic in Nairobi West and graduated into a conman car dealer who defrauded many people he subsequently graduated into a devious boxing promoter (he is the same one that ran away with boxer's money in 2009 and misappropriated Conjestina's money).

He relocated to S.Sudan where he somehow got some tenders - which he got paid for without rendering any actual service. He evaded arrest and returned to Kenya sometime in 2011 where David Musila who was the then Defence Assistant Minister in nusu mkate govt took him under his wing.The rest as they say is history
He recently beat up helicopter church pastor to a pulp (case ongoing),political advisor in Kitui (case ongoing) and now forged a title deed for some poor old man in Kajiado to get a loan from Ecobank of 138m (case ongoing).
In early 2013 the Engineers Association disowned the clown as one of their members given how he refers to himself as Eng.Joe Mutambu yet he did not pass form 2 at Endau Secondary School.
