You can ask your fellow P1 teachers in the staff room.Wazuans are professionals and not mere P1 teachers whose entry requirement is a mere C plain in KCSE

Am not a teacher but would advice he looks for a campus closest to him since I highly doubt there would be any difference in terms of fees especially for a B.Ed degree in government institutions. All he needs to insist on is that the programme be recognized/approved by TSC.

Many choices eg Pioneer International University along Thika road, Africa International University, Pan africa Christian University , Gretsa University, Great Lakes University among other cheap universities.

Not forgetting our award winning Nairobi Aviation College. Very flexible, they award you the degree that you want. You get your B.Ed without uttering a single a,e,i,I,o,u,o

But the question is, are those programmes in those diploma/degree mills recognized by the TSC? Or you thought TSC does not approve teachers learning programmes? Just like Engineering and Medical Sciences, B.Ed is regulated by TSC.

I remember sometime back, TSC could not employ some graduates including one programme called Agricultural education and extension from I think Egerton since it lacked some basic course units for teaching in classrooms.
