I am not sure if Friday is a good day for the discount. Or maybe it is. I'd love to see the raw data.
Folks either leave town (or get ready to do so on Friday) so filling up your tank makes sense. If KK can nab that crowd, then that's huge volumes.
Folks go to church on Sundays. It's a relaxed atmosphere. Pass by a KK and fill up for the week ahead.
Perhaps KK's analyst looks at M-T as days when folks are going to fill up coz they need to. They will not seek out a cheaper price due to traffic or time constraints.
Friday evenings (yes, there's traffic) is to prepare for the weekend and Sundays for the week. Perhaps, like me, check the oil, brake fluid and transmission fluid for any top ups.
Bottomline: KK must be selling lots of fuel. Volume over margins. I hope KK signs up lots of K-Card holders during this period.
