Jambo manpoa feel free to contact me for a quotation and a brief analysis of the pros and cons of either of the cars. We import at competitive rates without compromising on quality.

Suzuki Escudo is also known as Grand Vitara
Check here for both Vitara and the Honda CRV...

www.autotrader.co.uk

... but you can only import 2008 or newer. For 2007 local car yards or re-sellers.

Assuming you are looking for an automatic 2.0L, CR-V is a little more costly than the Escudo.

You cant compare Honda with Suzuki, even with most Toyees Honda iko juu.
Disregard the poorly shaped Hondas in Kenya, out here Honda is the thing.

get the CR-V purely based on reviews and looks of the car. I'm assuming its the 2008 version. complains za escudo about the back seat being un omfortable reminded me of a ride I took at the back of the older version escudo. we hit some rough road and the rambling and shaking made me fear for my teeth

@Chaka the two are not in the same league.

@manpoa, if this is your first car, then you can buy the Escudo. Hit it against the gate, matatus, buses... then repaint it and resale and upgrade. It is a mess if your first car is new. It will depreciate big time because of lack of experience.

Otherwise, if you are experienced driver, don't go for Suzuki, it's not comfortable and has low resale value.
