aged 64 years,Echo was the largest and oldest known Elephant in Kenya, which spent all its life in amboseli park. she exhibit unique characters never to be found with any other animal its species. she was reknowed worlwide, with filmaker licking in millions of money from films made from her. her tasks were long and overlapping eacher other, and looked as if competing with its husks for space. in his eulogy, senior species director at kws described echo as a mother who leaves behind a rich legacy, with descendants and sibling who lived harmonisouly all their lives. she leaves behind kids, great kids and great great kids besides 3 three sisters and a brother. she was the family head, who led this family of 42 gracefully at all times. she fondly loved human species,as epitomized by its handlers and the million visitors (tourists) who hovered over to see the spectacular giant. she survived poachers bullet,as well as the wrath of wildlife-human conflict in its all entire life. its not quite clear who will take over the mantle of the family after the demise. her closet sister,Eerie aged 40 or her own daughter that she loved most, aged 28 are the main prospective inheritors of the seat. they are lovely, social and basically exhibiting similar attributes as echo. however, due to the confusion, the pack has disintegrated into six smaller groups, but it is hoped sooner or later they will regroup as one large family. born at the end of the second world war,she was never known to fall sick. she gracefully passed on around midday of saturday the 9th may. she will be laid to rest decently within amboseli park in a colourful ceremony that senior gevernment officials, kws staff and animal lovers are expected to attended. atop its tomb will lay a monument, with its tasks towering over some scribes of the life and times of echo. may she rest in peace.
