I have had a bad experience with this guys and i regret why i ever made the move to purchase from them.
Is there any member here who has been unlucky like me or it was a just a bad day for me?

I ordered a Blackberry phone from them a couple of months back and I am in Kisumu, so I had to pay the full amount beforehand. Honestly my phone arrived in good time and no complaints. I called their office to confirm some details on the warranty. they were rather helpful. I would say just a bad day my friend.

Recently it seems we are going to suffer through spam from newbies.

They are too many and this is one clear spam technique. Pretty unbelievable.

I bought an HTC phone and the delivery was good. However, the phone developed hardware issues and when i took to them, they claimed that their warranty covers only software but not hardware.

Then the big question is whats the 1 year warranty for. Am a bit frustrated.

I bought two tablets earlier this month from their site and I was very impressed by their prompt delivery service and the fact that I only paid after they were delivered. However, the quality of the tablets is what I would describe as rubbish (a model called GenX which is pretty cheap). Both had their screens break on the same day after a low impact collision. I called them and complained about the quality and they told me that the warranty only covers software issues... Oh well, I got what I paid for but I will not be buying from Jumia again. Stocking such poor quality goods is not acceptable.

Lots of people complain especially on hardware, does not make sense since warranty is supposed to cover hardware issues , this begs the question ..what is the source of the stuff they sell, is it grey? why can't they send you to the manufacturers service point to claim warranty.

Its a first to hear warranty covering software ..

How do you have a warranty that does not cover hardware??? What kind of rubbish is that?
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

My point exactly, warranty covers hardware except in cases of end user tampering which voids it ... so they should come out clean ...as I said labda ni grey stuff

just for clarity, would you please explain what the hardware issues were, was it the screen was not responding to touch, or the back cover became loose -

I wanted to buy from them and after I mailed them about the warranty issue wakaniambia that
for phones and tablets warranty is mostly limited to malfunctioning software and inherent or manufacture defects in hardware.

agree, but at the end of the day I have always thought wazua ni place where watu wanaweza pata usaidizi, I would also appreciate more detailed and specific info on some of the queries raised.

but it would be wrong to haribia watu biashara if one is not willing to give more details of the bad experiences.
