Rwanda has ratified the EAC defence pact. Kenya and Uganda to follow suit. Under the pact, declaring war on one is declaring war on all.

We are seeing more and more militarisation of Africa including multilateral military pact, with support of the west.

The Southern states (RSA, Angola, TZ, Zimbabwe, Namibia) do not shy away from military action.

At the last Congo war, Uganda and Rwanda were beaten back by Kabila supported by the South Africans.

Now UG & RW have recruited big bro Ky.

In the horn of Africa, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Djbouti and Somalia have their histories of bilateral aggressions.

History teaches us that the 2 world wars were started by regional aggressions in Europe & Asia and the attendant pacts.

Will Africa suck the whole world into conflict one day?

"According to Simiyu Werunga, the director of the African Centre for Security and Strategic Studies, under the arrangement, the three countries will form a single defence territory, which means an attack on one will be considered aggression against all three."
1. Who pays?
2. What about an aggression by a member state, do the others join in?

Rwanda and Uganda, being land locked have more invested in Kenya than vice versa.
