Source.... today's substandard

Its a good move but I do not agree with the way it is structured

Dental and optical: Lower cadres have 10k while upper cadre have 20k family per year per category?

Maternity looks ok at 75K across board while outpatient is also uniform.

Inpatient: why not should some cadres have a cover of 350k while others have 1m per family per year? Isn't this discrimination? That Sossion man and his Kuppet counterpart need to have this addressed before implementation unless they are telling us there are expensive sickness for the higher and mighty and cheap sicknesses for the lower cadre

Hope they wont allow it to pass as it is only for them to ask for a strike later to rectify the odds.

Unfortunately that segregation is allowed in law provided you can prove reletive worth of jobs; common and normal in many organizations including multinationals!!!!

It will be interesting to follow the ramifications of this deal to other sectors. Nurses and Doctors don't have any health schemes themselves.

Wewe uko dunia gani? job groups and levels in ALL organizations in the world dictate these benefits. Take this; while sick persons in P,Q,R,S will go to different hospitals as to K L M N to get treatment for same illness only that charges in these hospitals difffer. compare Marter,Aga Khan,Nairobi,Kenyatta .......all other hospitals how they charge.
Everybody STEALS, a THIEF is one who's CAUGHT stealing something of LITTLE VALUE. !!!

That is a benefit, an office cleaner doesn't get the same house allowance as a CEO!!

Not everyone should have the same medical cover, some of these patients can in fact die by visiting some hospitals not due to sickness but excitement!!!!

You cannot have a person earning a salary of Kshs.21,000 per month and book him in a private wing at Nairobi hospital for 30K a night, yet he pays rent for 5Kper month.The chap will just die in his/her sleep due to excitement
