According to the latest Synovate‬ poll, Kenyan President‬ ‪Uhuru‬ ‪Kenyatta‬ now enjoys an approval rating of 71%.

The goodwill that carries is higher than President ‪Kibaki‬ on his 2002 presidential win of 62% of votes cast.

UK's 71% rating has risen dramatically from the 32% recorded in May 2014.

I know 3 staunch babu supporters who have ditched babu for uhuru saying they have grown weary of cheap politics. Told them to join those on the move. It's a miserable life being kept busy throughout the yr. with no hope of ever achieving anything good.

I look at this as those things that were meant to be.

Son of former president..campaigned and won, was not handed over the seat in Africa!

ICC with all its might looks like its crumbling.!

Then African leadership seems to be coalesing around him!

The fanatical following that the guy has acquired!

Akina Magigi switching camps and trust me Magigis are so many out there!

We can only pray that he does not let us down and give our support. The guy is enjoying too much goodwill.

Currently there are 3 active threads about Kamwana in Wazua. I just realized he cannot fit in one. He should now be called Kimwana!
Lord, thank you!

A lake side neighbour of mine has also switched camp. I asked him why? his response is even if babu is the only contender in 2017, he may not win. He did not elaborate further.

I tried to convince him not to decamp; his answer- he better decamp now because if he doesn't emotional trauma will take a toll on him.

Is he right? I do not know.

Swallowing the bait? or just a feel good thing going?

From my vantage point, people are busy minding their livelihoods, come election time. it will be thin margin battle as usual. No shifting of votes! just less pomp and fewer emotions.
