Sad Sad Everything was stolen even baggasseSad Sad !!!!
Mumias suspends staff who diverted ethanol
The Board and Management plus the Audit firm may have done this together to defraud the Govt and investors thereby enriching themselves.
Why would govt surcharge 220 per litre of ethanol which cost 93 kes only making the price jump to 313 per litre. Is the Govt thieving also?

It looks like every one who gets employed at MSC is a thief.

It's only poor thiefs who end up in jail. The rich thiefs pay for thier jail term with money.

In other terms when you are a poor thief you pay double for your sins.

1. The little money may be taken away

2. You spend years in jail , thus loosing the opportunity to
continue stealing.

The big thief can pay off the sins and get opportunity to steal more assurring him of ROI

loosing! A very common mistake.
The opposite of courage is not cowardice, it's conformity.

I think it's a cultural issue, a culture of MSC which needs a dictator to root it out.

Is it so hard to figure out where these crooks stash their loot? I don't buy it that the management was solely responsible for taking the company to the cleaners. Though, with Kidero wielding his corruption ward every employee is likely to follow suit. With this culture and the backing of KUSPAW, I am confident employees are plotting new ways to milk MSC. I am closely watching this stock just to see how investors react to gross mismanagement and corruption at the NSE.

I now understand.

No wonder when the Gok decided to rescue the company the locals ( i guess driven by the politicians) said their sons must be employed.

They would only allow outsiders to continue running the co. sickening

I agree with @jerry I think it's a cultural issue. This is not isolated at MSC. As a society, we need redemption. We have come to accept taking what does not belong to us as a norm. This never used to be. That is why medicine or engineering is no longer the choice of our high school kids. Procurement, i am told, it the "King". Not because of pay, but because stealing has been institutionalized. Oh Lord have Mercy..
