Very refreshing thoughts from Nzamba right there.

This dis-jointed push for piecemeal referendum by different parties is not going to help anyone. Every group wants to be exclusive and do it their way, with no regard for any other stake holder. In other words, it’s my way or my way, myself and I. A potential lose-lose situation. As Nzamba says, perhaps what we need is full audit of the constitution as the 5-year implementation period elapses in a year or so. We also do not have or are unlikely to have allocation of funds to conduct any referendum this financial year. Hence it is about time we started talking about full audit of the constitution instead of wasting time and energy on endless referendum debate. Full audit the way to go. Parliament and executive can and ought to lead the way. 1997 IPPG is a good reference. Is Mutava in the house? Can’t we be mature at least for once?

The ongoing referendum call is about three things;

1.Okoa Raila.
2.Pesa Mashimoni
Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

UDF leader Musalia Mudavadi has asked Kenyans to push for the convention of an inclusive National Constitutional Implementation Audit Conference.

Quote:
"The audit conference should bring together the face of Kenya to audit the implementation of the constitution. The Audit Conference will identify gaps; isolate issues and reach consensus on the changes that parliament can make and which ones should be taken to referendum," Mudavadi said.

I support maDVD. This 45% nonsense is simply a fat dream born out of fertile imaginations that public funds are infinite, hence to blow them up in smoke in a useless political process. Kenya must not be allowed to lose by half-witted, extra-dense, extremely selfish politicians.

looks like the 'mademon' had seen some quality in maDVD. Most his suggestions make sense.
