How does one delete a duplicate thread...I started another on this when I couldn't get it...this Wazua search is useless - how can one not get UEFA Champions League 2014/2015 when they search for Champions League 2014/2015??? Nkt!

Anyway, the draw was pretty easy for most top teams on face value, the only group you can say may be slightly a group of death is Group E, Roma's new status as the only team that realistically presents a challenge to Juve winning a 4th scudetto in a row makes the group dicey.

It was hard to watch the draw without Man Utd in it...

The UCL proper is back, as a gooner I feel a bit uncomfortable with our defensive frailties though with Chambers there is some consolation. Worryingly is if either of the defenders gets injured with only Bellerin a teenager as cover. Wenger realy likes outlier status when it comes to finding suitable candidates for what's considered obvious by fans and analysts. To me getting a point from to nights game is a bonus. BVB with their pressing game will pose a real challenge.

Will Arsene Wenger ever learn? Wenger you cannot compete and win UCL, let alone EPL with the current depth. When given 90 days to reinforce the team, please listen to us and buy. Disaster

@Taz, hapa lazima tutafute theories why we lost, and one is that Both Arsenal and A. Madrid had very tough matches over the weekend (City and Real Madrid respectively) and had to meet very strong opposition tonight. Both lost

The cycle is known and I can save you the trouble, get through the group stage as number 2, then get knocked out at the round of 16 after showing some spirit in the 2nd leg!!!!!

Arsenal is a business enterprise and a cashcow for Stan Kronke.
Might occasionally win a Carling cup or FA cup but cannot compete for top honours until there is paradigm shift.
Wenger has a three year contract and he wont change. It is no longer about players,it is about organization of the playing unit.Immobile wont have scored that goal against Leicester back three.

The players looked physically jaded but i think it all comes down to the approach and the way the team was set-up. I think Wenger is still struggling to find the right balance in his team. Ozil SHOULD be played through the middle, thats his best position but huyu Wenger anainsist on using him as a winger......that's Carzola's position. I totally agree with Ian Wright's view on the Ozil situation

"Arsene get Ozil in the middle, get the team to play around him! He's 42 mill worth of player for a reason! Do something with him PLEASE"

The Wilshere/Ramsey combination hasn't really worked well for the team, Wenger needs to bring in Carzola and probably rosicky who have more to offer.
