Well it all depends on the condition of the car you are driving and i have driven a pajero,X trail, prados, forester RAV 4 both the old shape and the new shape and you can take corners even at 120kmph with the rav4 as long as it has fine suspension, alignment, wheel balanced and such other mech stuff.
However a forester and most saloons being of lower profile than the Rav4 can take slightly steeper bends. The Benz will bend where the forester wont dare,Some pple Love the Rav4 others the Forester and for same and for different reasons.

When u r good to people, they dont like when u r bad people wont like you either so i would rather be bad

mindset i think.. I let my friend drive upcountry and he's still amazed by the performance of this car..excellent .. Better part is the fuel it consumed..othaya and back ONLY 1K.. And all along we were the road master..only a ka VITz drove past us.
Alpha, mind tell us what caused the burning?..dont want to imagine such aloss at this time ..

Just an observation. The engines for the Rav 4 (+/- 2000) and Corona Premio G (D4) (+/- 2000) are both D4 but slightly different:

Rav4 - 1AZ-FSE: 152 ps (111.80 kw) / 6000 rpm
Corona Premio G - 3S-FSE : 145 ps (106.65 kw) / 6000 rpm

Rav4 ways about 130kg more and has a slightly smaller tank.
So the Corona Premio G has a slightly lower power density.

Continuing on this thread>

Someone had mentioned good plugs that are recommended for a D4 Engine (3S-FSE in a toyota corona premio).

From my quick googling around theres:

Denso PK20GR8 (Iridium Plugs) - from the site - this is specific to this engine
NGK (didn't find anything specific from their website)

Anybody with more info/recommendations?

Hi all

someone told me that when the vehicles arrive at Mombasa Port, the thermostat is removed from the engine. What is the significance of this and are there any consequences of not removing the damn thing?

Please shed some light on this

The Thermostat enables the engine to reach the correct operating temp' quickly- in the morning on ignition, you will notice the rev is high. but lowers once the proper temp is reached.

If i were you,i would ensure cleaned,[tends to rust] and leave it intact.
