I bet she will do little in Britam. Any reason why she "resigned" from Safaricom? They could be something fishy to her exit. Any way let's give her some time. I have noted that Britam has rather " unjustified ambitious" projects. Some of the projects are started so that guys can eat-KQ style. This 3 Billion IT project dubbed Jawabu has more than meets the eye...

@Ericsson, Thanks. Wish I had seen the light earlier enough. Even HFCK IT Project(SAP ERP&Core Banking) was "Extravagant".

Burned myself with Britam Shares-bought at 17 and offloaded at 10.

This will never end well for the Cyton guys.

It will end very well. Unless you are talking of extra judicial aspect. The decision to move an investment portfolio solely lies with the funds owner.. Nothing stops one from liquidating a position with a fund manager and moving on. That money was never Britam's to start with, plus Acorn has already paid back excess funds transferred

How do you ever make money if you buy at 17 and sell at 10?

To reduce exposure to further bleeding. I waited for almost a year for this stock to go past 17 nikachoka. Now it is doing single digit.

Apart from the Share price, is investing in a long term policy with Britam a good move?
