Britam wachana nayo.The stake was sold at cost because the the two couldn't work/live together.
So Hellios are the ones who bought the 25% stake.

Cytonn divorced Britam for similar reasons. Someone who has been divorced twice needs to be approached with caution

Isn't this the same acorn that britam and cytonn were brawling over? Why should one dispose something so coveted at cost price? Is acorn worth such a paltry sum(1.2b)as firm? Too many shenanigans in this company.

Re-taking its own course is the best way Britam can go. Acorn and Britam partnership was nay and could not grow business. They britam refused to wait like me waiting for Sameer to go back to 30 while currently trading at 3Sad

HY2016 for Britam will be tough talk. The Business is halfway good as the year plus alot of positice developments.
Opening new Tower, what occurred when Britam Super share holders decided to buy out Mauritius business, Checking out Acorn, new projects in line for 2016- 2020.

@Obiero;
That's very true about the tower.
Even UAP invited Old Mutual to come and bail them out coz UAP tower was going to finish them.
That 23% stake held by Munga will be sold to a big insurance player who will then pump in additional money in return for shares so as to rescue the company.

Britam will not be shy to announce their HY2016 this week.
They will focus on completing ongoing projects and consolidating funds to start new ones.
Still to be lateral in income generation but there will be much more hope.
May touch on bring in partner as soon as he is ready.Could Renaissance Capital be the partner?

The way HF has fallen from the descending wedge is quite worrying. HF traded jumbo vol spike in 2015 larger than average and the highest in 10 years at around KES 22. That was one sizable distribution effort!!

The Munga buy hype has also been flashed out by the market. Only incredible PPT remains to stick save this counter. They won't be in a hurry to announce H1.
