"Mrs Ngugi said she will be going for the TNA nominations slated for Monday next week and appealed to voters to turnout in large numbers and endorse her.

So far, five candidates have announced they would contest the seat. They include Mrs Ngugi, TNA strategist Moses Kuria, advocate Joachim Kamere, insurance manager Thuka Maracha and a former councillor in the defunct Thika County Council John Ndung’u Ngugi Karing’u."
