One personality is for winning elections: this one needs to be populist and be in tune with the pulse of the masses at any one time, the crowd demands different actions at different times and you must be in touch with what they want at any one time. This characteristic is best exemplified by Mike Mbuvi Sonko. The other personality is for governing; this one is cold, calculating, steadfast and does not give a damn about public sentiment. Determination to get whatever job you need to do watu wapende wasipende and doing everything it takes to get it done. It requires being organised and visionary. This characteristic is best exemplified by Mwai Kibaki.
