Devolution Cabinet Secretary Ann Waiguru risks a sack after a section of legislators activated a constitutional clause for her removal from office over ‘gross misconduct’ and ‘gross violation of the Constitution’.

They are citing the dismissal of Gor Semelango and now Kiplimo Rugut. Then imaginative rumor mongers are saying she even retorted to Deputy PM “I am in charge of Devolution and above you"

Motion filed by Linturi backed by section of TNA/URP members. But this is Uhuru's favorite CS

Oh...she is very much impeachable. Uhuru has no sacred cows....other than Ruto and Moi.He is after creating a legacy. Ann should pray very hard.

The twist is that an airport which cannot be landed on is loathed by pilots, especially pilots who spend time lazing at Uhuru park and crossing the road for tea and mandazi.

She also presents a very good sacrificial lamb to show Uhunye is not tribal and also that he means business. Her going home is a plus for Uhuru. Her impeachment is the glue Jubilee needs to hold together, at least a little while longer. Mithika is someone's hatchet man.

Aki politicians can be ruthless.

To me it sound more like use and sacrifice, she was used to fill the "right" people to the right positions and now she is been dumb after the deal is done! There is no way this lady could have made all the changes without approval from up the leadership.

You now just have to lead the charge to her removal to show the Kalenjins and URP that, it's not TNA doing this, it's just this mean lady and by the way we can nolonger review all the changes she made, what we have to do is make sure something like this never happen. Thanks Bro!

I have said it here before , this cs is a nobody. Directing all our energy to her issue could also be a diversionary tactic.
Politics is just things to keep the people divided and foolish and put your trust in men and none of them can do nothing for you...

But to add to the intrigues, NYS officials say political commentator and consultant Mutahi Ngunyi, famous for his “tyranny of numbers” prediction of a Jubilee win in the last General Election, was hired in February to spearhead restructuring.

It was not clear how Mr Ngunyi’s services were procured since no public advertisements were made. NYS insiders also questioned his skills in the area.

FISHY PROCESS

“Mr Ngunyi came with three other people and are sometimes based at the NYS premises but all we were told was they were consultants who would be working to restructure NYS.

We were, however, not told of his terms of reference or how he was hired,” our NYS source said, adding that the consultants’ contract was worth millions of shillings.

Ms Waiguru acknowledged Mr Ngunyi was indeed consulting for NYS but added he was only working for a company that had been given the job. The CS, however, declined to name the consulting firm nor the amount they were being paid. She referred the Sunday Nation to PS Mangiti for details, but his phone went unanswered.

Ms Waiguru pointed out that the firm was hired through restricted tendering because NYS was a security outfit just like other uniformed disciplines and the consultant was expected to handle sensitive documents.

Agreed. These are just side shows. Let Ann (namesake) continue with the good work she is doing. Kusema na kutender!

She thinks after
"serving" the president she is still valued as before?
Does she know the line of hotter mamas on the line just begging Uhunye to "assist" them?

But seriously, why should she be impeached? Working in government can be one big nightmare.
