This is poverty talking...someone who is still chasing material things not knowing the greatest riches you can leave behind is a legacy...not some Maybach or 4 wives Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly

Kirubi's legacy is hanging out with women of loose morals, and stealing. He won't be remembered for anything...erased from history as all thieves are.

Poverty mentality manenoz.

So how will this "legacy" help someone after they are dead? Live your own life, don't live to please others. Live your life to the fullest - maybachs, wives and all. We live only once, and then it's dust to dust.

it's very useful to be remembered!! Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly very useful!!
Kila mtu aishi maisha yake!! Being kept in history or erased doesn't add squat to you as a person. Anyway... history has a way of blunting off the sharp edges and making people look better than before. in a couple of years... Moi will be looked at with nostaligia... even people who hated kibaki feel some affection for him now. But all in all it's moot... memories are for the living!

So if you don't loot you will not die of cancer? very interesting!!!

No, you die of malaria, cholera or typhoid

partially correct - you die of Malaria, pneumonia, cancer, HIV/AIDS in that order

We will all die some day from some disease, condition or tragedy. Whether poor or rich. That is how living things are. They get born and die after some time. Even in the poor villages men, women and children are dying of cancers - prostrate, colon, ovarian, breast, leukemia etc etc

Kwani legacy should only be about hospitals? DJ's "legacy" ya Two Rivers mall and International House also do make Kenyans proud. The developments make them feel good and walk with their heads high as a people living in a "civilised/developed" country with 1st world facilities. Ask the middo class shoppers hapo carrefour. Life is not all about sickness and hospitals, it is also about shopping and malls, and the feel good factor for the citizens.

I don't understand the expressions of shock here.

Rich people don't get sick?

Ama kukonda ghafla is the shocking thing.

Kimunya alivokonda ghafla these were the same reactions, bado yupo.

Hata nyie mnaoshangaa are not immune from kukonda au kugonjeka.

Unamshangaa mwenzako na labda utamtangulia..

You both have a point, isolated points to be exact.

Live your life to the fullest, but above all, love your country, and your fellow your countrymen. Leave it better than you found it for posterity. I guess that is far more fulfilling, seeing a glorious prosperous and happy nation on your sunset, rather than a dysfunctional, nearly collapsing edifice.

Live happy, die happy, without any guilt.

It is actually in times like this that wealth and connections come in handy. I can bet that he is receiving the best care that money can buy and has most probably been able to survive this far thanks to that.

The average person would most probably be dead or swimming in debt and begging to afford the basic treatment to keep him/her alive.

I do know for a fact that being rich and sick definitely beats being poor and sick.
