Fact: Larry Madowo is the best TV journalist

He is the one person that any media company would want to have. He moves seamlessly from news anchoring, to interviews, live broadcasts etc. Infact he has personally turned round the fortunes of NTV by bringing in vibrancy to the once dull station. I never miss his programme "The Trend" that airs on fridays. He is in the league of Julie Gichuru, if not better, and has a very bright future in broadcasting.
I never understand why some people talk ill of him, maybe it's due to jealousy coz of his talent......and perceived closeness to fellow anchor Victoria Rubadiri.

Honestly, the guy has grown. My mind has been able to shift him from business to a wider role. Kitambo my mindset was locked to him doing business and business only but I think Trend has really raised his profile.

The guy is good. He is able to hold the attention of his audience for hours (news+trend), which isn't easy for many journalists, especially on a friday evening. I have also seen him do live broadcasts e.g. launch of standard gauge railway, state events etc and the guy has stamina, passion and charisma and can go on talking and talking for hours without boring the audience.

He is good. However, it is monotonous to see one person over and over. They need to limit his number of appearance. It is great to him grow.
That Wallace guy was the most boring fellow on TV. He may be having a sharp upstairs but his interaction with the TV audience was not the best.

Agree, Wallace ai hapana...and his attempts to bring the cool while doing news na akina maasai and Smriti by teasing them, jokes hapa na pale doesn't just work out. Larry Madowo pulls it so well, fresh and easy, he dares move away from the tradition, he spots jeans and jacket on studio, though his guests at times fail him on keeping the show lively. He used to talk too much on the "wrong things" but these days he talks too much on the right things.

....though he can become snobbish to some of the "not so cool" guests like he did to the guest who had the longest nails in east africa, instead he joined akina jalango on teasing him.
Same fate befell another "not so cool guest" who eats nails, soda cans, spoons and forks for a leaving.

As Madowo improves, Jeff Koinange has tumbled. The Jeff of KTN is a pale shadow of the Jeff of K24. All my friends are heathens, take it slow. Wait for them to ask you who you know. Please don't make any sudden moves.

What? Larry Madowo is the "best" Television Journalist? I acknowledge that standards can be low here in the Virtual Republic, but they CANNOT be THIS low. Best and Madowo and television and journalist is a no, no. My penny thoughts.
