Just went off, perhaps a power surge fried it. Does anyone have the contacts of someone who can repair or replace it? Desperate .....please help!

Call teh Kenya power guys, they should be able to replace it.

Mine was replaced within 24 hrs after it went off

Update: Switched off and then on again at the main distribution board and the meter reset, coming back on again. If you ever get this problem, try this first before calling KPLC, it might save you a couple of bucks in charges smile
