MK has been caught offguard this time round. But maybe he deserves it as a result of hands-off approach. He needs to know…if you do not chart a course as a leader (or in life as a person),someone will have to do it for you whether you like it or not….and it may not be very pleasant…
Other than dissolving parliament,the only other options are:
· Agree to split the posts so VP chairs HBC but PM to undertake the Leader of Gvt business. Since they share power on 50/50 basis,each of these two gentlemen to have VETO power on any matters to be debated in the house
· PNU to move to court to seek interpretation of accord and extent of power sharing. This will set another precedent and thus forestall future disputes …Otherwise ODM will henceforth always cry foul whenever a driver / gardener is hired without them being consulted
Moving to court to halt Marende ruling may have worked in the dark days of Kanu but not any more….Plus what do they really fear if ODM takes both (or one) posts?
