Hi guys
How do I calculate or rather estimate the import duty (and other mandatory taxes) of items I bought online to from China? Do I use the same model used for vehicles?How does it work?

Talk with your clearing agent. He should be in the best position to handle this matter in terms of advice

I know...But I need to have a rough idea before I engage with the agents..I'm sure its not rocket science..

Put here the HS Code- you can get it from your supplier.

Only the HS code can determine what is payable.

@karagee..got it..would you know of additional local charges(standard) that I may incure when importing such items?

Local Import charges expected;

Shipping Line charges as per the BL

Excludes Storage/Demurrage/Fines imposed for misdeclaration.

Please remember to have the goods undergo Pre-inspection at Origin. (COC)
