Ensure your minimum irreducible issues are clearly itemised in the sales agreement. i.e. dont take the developers word that there will be a swimming pool, even if the sales pitch has it. Remember the sales pitch has very small letters "particulars not warranted", so if you MUST have a pool, ensure that it is in the agreement. You should be as paranoid as stating the length, breath and depth of the pool, to avoid the chinese contractor making a duck pond and calling it a swimming pool.

You will know that you have arrived when money and time are not mutually exclusive "events" in you life!
