Today the CMA has given a notice to all investors who had accounts operated dsl to liase with the statutory managers before 29/05/2009. see the link below

Hi,

The notice says to go to Nrb in case of any transfer. M based in Msa,went to DSL offices 2day n dey stil closed. Any idea if i can make the transfer in Msa n from wher?

@ Manmbao. Any word from statutory managers on transfers for those who filled the forms as advised?

Hotels will always serve the fruits/vegs of the season. In stocks,ur duty as a trader is to identify the HOTshare of the season.

It was a ploy to get people to register their claims. As you are aware,we are a last minute people. It worked wonders on the 29/05/2009. You can still lodge your claim even tomorrow.

This deadline was extended to 16 July (Sunday Nation).Even then,CMA is not fair in this all.DSL is known to have had so many small branches across the country.Most of their clients were small time investors (Peasants) who have never been to Nairobi..............Is there any rationale in expecting a poor farmer to travel from Busia to Nairobi just to go and fill transfer forms for 2000 shares of Paka or Sasini...??......Why not have the statutory managers open the various branches on designated dates for the purposes of this exercise?.......and how sure is CMA that this information on the new deadline has got to the masses??......Stella should wake up.

I gave up coz of the long ques. Thanks didnt know about the extended deadline.

Ideally if you value the time one takes queing at |NHIF vis a vis the value of the shares then its no bargain. They should open the branches as sugested.
