Matches of the week is sharks v hurricanes. Kickoff is at 18:10 hrs.
The other big match for week 2 was chiefs v crusaders.
Chiefs vs Saders was the toast of the weekend, And was very happy with the results.
@Obi K, you must be an all black fan. The Sharks are coached by Jake White. They are expected to win the competition this year by any rugby fan. Beating a new Zealand team in South Africa is very important for Springbok fans. That is why this was my main game of the week. Those were four more points in the bag for the Sharks, who is next?
BTW @Obi K and anyone else commenting on this thread, which team are you supporting for super XV?
@Ole Lenku, and @Masukuma. I am a perenial suffering Hurricane fan, became a fan during the attacking madness that was Tana, Lomu & Cullen, thats when I started watching Super 12. I however fell in love with that cursed yellow jersey in the era of the bionic backrow of Jerry, Rodney and Masoe. The hurricanes have not won anything and will probably not in the near future, so I now just sit back and enjoy watching the Chiefs as I wait for a new generation of players to emerge.
@Ole Lenku, I agree with you, this year, the sharks and the waratahs are the hot favourites to win the comp. But I am sure no one told Dave Rennie and his Chiefs about that, the Chiefs will probably win it again. They have a very good flyhalf in Cruden, super tough backrow and an electric backline. Their defence is a brick wall and their pack works very hard.
Seems the SA fans are not turning up for Super rugby like the way they fill those stadiums during the curry Cup. most of the games this weekend were empty, even the 3 derbies
