To see that the west is in DRC for its wealth, just visit Gombe District in Kinshasa. Knock hard and it will be opened. Ask and you will be answered. Seek and you shall find.

Imagine covering that distance in a whole month  , not because you're lazy, but because the road, if one can cal it that, is in a very literal sense non-existent. Life is like playing a violin solo in public and learning the instrument as one goes on.

I watched this a while ago and thats when i agreed DRC is really a problem. The man did not even finish the journey, it was just too much Yenyewe hiyo safari sio mchezo. I thought Kenya had problems until I saw that. Sometimes I think to myself, the DRC is too expansive a country to be governed centrally. I think a federal state along the lines of the U.S or even a confederation like Switzerland would go a long way towards stabilizing the country and positioning it for economic take-off. Think about it, Western Europe comprises about 15 countries (I'm assuming the 15 original EEC members here) and yet we are told the DRC is way bigger than all these put together. Can we even begin to fathom that? Life is like playing a violin solo in public and learning the instrument as one goes on.
