@matekwa thanks u mentioned hydraform. What is the viability of making a residential hse using hydraform? Considering that you plant to put up in an area that has cotton so meaning ull have to buy soil to make the hydraform

I have done some research and found out that the new type of interlocking soil blocks do not need mortar for joining. The surface is so smooth that there is no need for plastering. The construction time is greatly reduced.

Hehehe for those asking who makiga is try their website i think it was makiga.com. Or google the word makiga Engineering.
@pablo i got the number for makiga but the lady who picked the phone said thir architect is on leave but anarudi soon and it would be best to visit wen they r there

@Dexco possibly we should take a visit to the Jamii bora housing scheme where they have built 2br houses and selling them for KShs 360k. The houses look kawaida not the red brick ones. We should know how they make their building blocks and roofing materials.

Did you ever get to see a house made of ISSBs?......There is this church along Lanet-Ndundori road (About 300m from the Kenya Army School of Combat).There is a single storey building and the perimeter wall is also made of the same.Absolutely awesome.

Never go to go. However I shelved this plan and do it kawa as I dont know how stable the blocks are for 2 storeyed buildings. Anyway check your mail.
