If you have friends there who care, ask them to allow sorting by AGM Date, Announcement Date, Book Closure Date and Payment Date.

Kenya Reinsurance Corporation Ltd announced a First & Final dividend of Kes.0.45 on 29-Mar-2019; Books Closure 17-Jun-2019; Payment 26-Jul-2019.
Applause

I&M Holdings Plc announced a Bonus Issue of 1:1 on 27-Mar-2019; Books Closure 10-May-2019; Crediting Date 23-May-2019. Applause [Already received]

What do the dividends calendars for KCB and safaricom look like this year. Am surprised by how difficult this crucial information is difficult to trace? what is a reliable source for this information?

Do you mean payment dates of the dividends?

COOP paid today. You can check for the rest on NSE site under Company Announcements section. It is the most accurate and updated place I have found on the net

Hey Obiero, I am not seeing that tab called company announcements

Thank me now https://www.nse.co.ke/listed-companies/company-announcements/corporateactions.html

This is exactly what I was looking for, I guess KCB and Safcom dividends are yet to be approved by shareholders or something like that since they are not on the list

I can see that there are finally some positive news within banking sector. However, I am still very sceptic is banking will have sustainable business on a long run. I see that tech companies are slowly taking over traditional banking business, so it might be better investment for long term traders

KQ did a 4:1 consolidation i.e 4 became 1.
KenRe felt sorry for KQ so had a 3:1 bonus (in essence 4 "old" shares for 1 "new" share).

Now KQ has bragging rights. Laughing out loudly
