lakini... I don't really understand us.

Could it be that our threshold for pain has gone up after westgate?
Even the least viewed channel?
A caller said,'We have been having sporadic attacks in dandora,wajir,garissa,kayole,with people dying and others getting injured, but we don't come out in solidarity to assist financially or donate a pint of blood.
That reaction may have incenced the terrorists and made them resolve to hit the major nerve just to get the international/national attention they so much crave.

I really thought the Former speaker's led committee sorted the issue in Wajir and those people pledged peace for each other. I think they were even given some money by the govt as compensation. What happened?
