I wss reading about Narok County's plans to more build eco-lodges and hotels to cater for more tourists but I wondered what efforts were being put in place to protect the wildlife...

Reading about the Chinese donating vehicles binoculars and cameras to help in the fight against poaching in the county, I thought this somewhat ironical...not sure how strategic the fights against poaching are at the county and national levels....

China is the largest market for products like ivory. It is actually one of the few countries where it is legal. If they are helping to fight poaching its like a hyena giving tactics on how to protect sheep.

i also thought it very interesting that as mr. 1 was shooting scenes to be included in the tourism promotion film for shaina, mrs. 1 is spearheading the 'toa mikono kwa ndovu zetu' campaign...

I wont be surprised that those same cars/binoculars are fitted with some gadget.... and the detector has been given to the poachers..... Good luck Johnathan...sorry, KWS
