1. How do they verify that I submitted? I will go drop off my stuff; no reference number nothing! If you want confirmation,make a copy of your return and ask the receiving officer to stamp it for you....NB this only works when you file early before the crowds build up and the officers get overwhelmed!
2. What happens to all those papers? The information is keyed-into your records. The process takes about four to five months to complete. The forms are then scanned and stored in they archival system. The papers are destroyed (burned) to protect private information going public...as used to happen to TSC payrolls a few years ago!!
