CMA ruled that the changes, contrary to the information memorandum Home Afrika presented and terms of approval of the ill-fated bond, constitute a deliberate "misinformation or deception" of the public. The authority has since demanded Home Afrika to refund the raised amount even though the corporate bond was under-subscribed by 60 per cent. CMA has also penalised NIC Capital and Kingdom Securities, the bond advisors for misleading Home Afrika to revise the coupon rate from 13.5 to 17 per cent.

where will they get money to refund?

Looks like the CMA finally woke up from their self induced coma.

Wont bet on that, perhaps someone is jobhunting

Time is money, so money is time. Money saved is time gained in reverse! Money stores your life’s energy. You expend your energy, get paid money, and store that money for a future purchase made in a currency.

More fun hapo! Schadenfreude. Ask @Obiero about me & Olympia! I made a 180-degree turn on that piece of crap whose CEO is nothing but a crook.

Had to make this turn in Dec 2015 luckly I exited unscathed!!! Those on the ride tighten your seat belts.

U are lucky u exited. #Tightening my already tight seatbelt

That board of directors list leaves a whole lot to be desired

The volume patterns shows that institutional investors are taking over from the founders. At 2/= this is a speculators' stock.

Speculator or fools paradise?? Do not attempt to buy into this one

The PPT called me bad names here for labelling HAFR a bandia firm

Since listing in NSE,Home afrika has always been in the news in need of cash for this and that project. All these while posting losses year in year out. They are involved in many projects which are making losses! Why not finish one then move to the next? Why the rights issue? shareholder to pump more money in a moribund company? I guess stanlib fahari I-Reit will go this same route.

I do not know if I would go as far as all this, but I do agree there are way too many red flags on this one. I am staying well clear of this company.

Prints an all time low of KES 1.25. Lowest price print of any NSE counter! The race to the bottom continues closely followed by ADSS, MSC and paka. Others looking to join the party are Uchumi and KQ as their prices hoover just above KES 3.00.

Waiting for @obiero to knock me out for highlighting that plane in a steep nosedive smile
