Anyone with info on the best current fixed deposit rates. Faulu is offering 8%/ 6months for 500,000-1M.

Located in afghan and looking for more concrete and current information. Please Help!!!!!

CFC Stanbic Puresave Account offering 8% p.a for amounts > Ksh 500,000. (6% for amounts <500K)
Interest calculated monthly and deposited into the account on the last day of the month (Thus,interest also earns interest in subsequent months making the gross return more than the 8%)
You can pull out the cash at any time u wish (or once per month if you don't want to pull out the entire amount.)

Looking at the interest rates these Mid Tier Banks are paying on the FDRs speaks alot of what to expect for their 1H2013 cost of funds
