How is it possible to hind a guy with a $5million bounty on his head in country where 54% of the population lives on less than a dollar a day? A sh50,00 bounty was put on the former head of the National AIDS Control Programme in less than a week she was behind bars. I don't believe the US story that the GoK is hiding this Kabuga guy...unless he is under house arrest...which would be good...somehow! Behind the gardens...Behind the wall...Under the tree (Including: Red...Dark Blue...Yellow) Nothing is real unless it can be named; nothing has value unless it can be sold; money is worthless unless you spend it.

Obama- yes, according to the standard- must take us for fools. He says it is the government, yes the government and not some individual in government, that is hiding him. I do not believe that this government can keep a secret, leave alone one that has $5m price tag.

I think these are mere machinations to undermine our stability and democracy - I will never trust Americans. Infidels!!!

On whom does the burden of proof rest? 1. Kenya Government - To prove that he is no longer in the country? 2. US Government - To prove that he is still in the country? Katika Jangwa la Jangili ndipo Pwagu hupata Pwaguzi. Katika Jangwa la Jangili ndipo Pwagu hupata Pwaguzi.

I think this man is in Kenya......one Joshua Kulei or is it Zackayao Cheruiyot should know better!!!! The chief value of money lies in the fact that one lives in a world in which it is overestimated. ..."Wewe ni mtu mdogo sana....na mwenye amekuandika pia ni mtu mdogo sana!".

Americans want to undermine OUR stability and democracy? Explain OUR stability? Explain OUR democracy? We must be a huge threat to US interests hence their efforts to undermine us. Sounds like paranoia to me. Or is it just plain guilt??? In case you have overlooked it,US$5m = sh375m Even the Goldenberg architects did not take home that much each...... And you say that Kabuga can bribe with more than that.....? I don't think so,especially for consistently for so many years.... @Brewer,I totally agree with u! if the US have seen him here, why didnt they capture him? If they can takeout an al-Qaeda in somali, why not a 'refugee' thug in a forested area in Kenya???
Anyway,if he was being hidden by a Mt. Kenya Mafia, the guy would have been rosted by Kalwale,Kajwang and the like. if hidden by ODM MPigs, then no chance....unless the RAO-Arap Milosovic war deteroriates...

@Kularaha - yes. I stand by that. Right now we are just a few steps away from Zimbabwe...I think there are always undercurrents that we do not always see...

Mukiha, Some facts for you: The longest-running is the Goldenberg scandal [2],where the Kenyan government subsidized exports of gold, paying exporters in Kenyan Shillings (Sh) 35% over their foreign currency earnings. In this case, the gold was smuggled from Congo. The Goldenberg scandal cost Kenya the equivalent of more than 10% of the country's annual GDP. The chief architect beyond the scheme was a relative of the Kenyan businessman Kamlesh Pattni. However,it was Pattni who established Goldenberg International to implement the scheme. [2] The very large sums involved (600 million dollars) indicate that the senior government officials were at least complicit. Almost all the politicians in the Moi government and a considerable percentage of the current Kibaki government have been accused. The judicial system also appears to have been deeply involved, with twenty three of Kenya's senior judges resigning after evidence indicated their involvement Business opportunities are like buses, there's always another one coming Business opportunities are like buses, there's always another one coming

America thrives on the thinking of some people I have spotted here that: 'Kuna kitu,America must be right'. Since George Bush and his two terms in office America cannot always be right.
On this one, they are being plain stupid. Ati Kenya government is hiding Kabuga. S*** we are fools to give this allegation even iota of belief. I can understand the allegation that some elements in government may know where he is but to say it is the government is to suggest it is part of its security policy to hide Kabuga. Even then whether it is individuals or government USA has led the way on how to deal with this: personally smoke the government official and write him a letter and tell him he is not welcome in America like Wako.
What is their interest really? If I am not wrong the USA is not a signatory to whatever convention is responsible for genocide and war crimes,so they may not want Kabuga to go to the Hague. They may also not want him to go to guatanamo, that war crimes crime scene.
I personally think the USA policy in Kenya is led by incompetents but they sure know they have local cheering crowd.
Having said that I hope the Rwanda people will find closure to their sad history when the fellow is apprehended and tried.

If not for the Americans (Smith Hempstone) daniel moi would still be effing us... well, not that we replaced him with anyone much better... but kibz+RAO are better than daniel moi in the theft/allocation department. *** kabuga came to Kenya when dan moi & nick biwott were in power. There must have been some agreement. **** daniel moi used to scream 'sovereignty' while asking Kenyans to bend over while giving it to us... so to hell with sovereignty... We need JUSTICE for those killed by moi,biwott,ruto... and all the others... Greedy when others are fearful,Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase WB Greedy when others are fearful. VVS,you really cast your net wide- here i was thinking we are discussing Kabuga!
Kularaha, you are right. The tragedy of the Rwanda genocide defies belief. I hope that USA is not playing politics with that tragedy. I sure hope no kenyan has a hand in hiding the fugitive.

@KulaRaha - I once saw a document from the Arusha Tribunal, that places a good chunk of the genocide blame squarely on Paul Kagame - you will recall even one of this top people was detained/arrested in France. Things are not always what they seem....for all we know,Kabuga might just be a scapegoat...I'll try and look for that link - it makes for REALLY interesting reading, esp in relation to things that are currently happening in DRC (the pilfering of minerals by the UPDF,RPF at the behest of western MNCs) ....have you noticed how many more DRC cars/trucks we seem to have on our roads??????
