Our 1st first lady should be compensated by British for wrongful arrest, detention and imprisonment at Kamiti prison for 7yrs. Yes 1952 upto 1959 she was in prison. Did you Know?
Reason: She was wife to a 'criminal' according to colonialists.

She was in Kamiti prison between 1952 and 1959. Kamwana was born in 1960. And Kamwana became president 60 years to theday when his father started his prison sentence. Talk of defeat.

She joined Kenyatta in Maralal where he was held even after expiry of his 7yrs jail term. This is where UK was conceived

I guess the wealth she got then and the comfort she got as a 1st lady might have compensated her enough....

I agree that she should be compensated too. If the footsoldiers were compensated, then the widow of the general himself deserves compensation.
