Energy is the engine of the economy and Since Kenya is really behind in generation of power (less than 2000Mw), our economy is not bound to grow by double digits at this scale. Its time policy makers start taking up alternative energy seriously.
Brazil incorporated Ethanol in its energy mix and the fruits of that effort are very visible. Today all pump stations in Brazil have atleast one Ethanol pump.
Any policy makers here? Why has Kenya not taken up the mixing of Ethanol and Petrol or diesel?
We have so many fast food shops in Ke. What do they do with the dirty oil?
