After spending millions on his Mweiga home the infamous former president may not be relocating to the Mount Kenya region despite his accelerating old age. This is after guns and hundreds of bullets were found abandoned at the home backyard.

I still dont understand why we needed to build him that palace...he had a home in Muthaiga, and Nyeri...that Mweiga home was a pure waste of money, and whoever came up with it, didnt think thru just whatever popped up from someones head. I thot Rich people have many houses/homes in distinct location dues to beauty or weather so when conditions favour they go for holiday to those particular homes so to me Mweiga doesnt fit either of that.

His monthly allowances will include a housing allowance of Sh300,000, Sh300,000 for electricity, water and telephone allowances, Sh200,00 for fuel and a further Sh200,000 for entertainment.
...Build someone a house and then go ahead to give a monthly housing allowance. What is the housing allowance for? If only money could buy life, some people would live forever...I wish I was that lucky!
