After the recent upgrading, Star-times can now access Signet Channels 001- 040.
These channels are accessible even without a subscription.

Startimes now have to work around the clock to ensure more attractive packages for their decoders else some of their customers will churn as as they are able to get digital signals for all local channels!

You are sure you can access them even after expiry of your subscription? I was told that if one doesn't renew the subscription, he/she will access KBC only. Even the signet channels will be stopped.

Yes. If you doubt me and you still have an active subscription, simply remove your Smart-card from the decoder and try accessing the Signet channels.

Go to Menu >> select Channel list >> Scroll either up or down until you see Channels starting with signet and select.

If you still don't get them, conduct a search menu >> system settings > Channel Search >> Automatic search

I had a similar experience a couple of months back and was able to receive the signet channels for a few days before the unit upgraded/updated and lost/blocked the signet frequencies reception.Hence hold ur happiness for a while! I have since moved on to Rock-dale receiver though reception is bad when it rain. I guess signet get their channel feeds via satellite which can be prone to bad weather.....
