They are non corrosive no rust, The colour doest fade with time, non-flammable with 10+ years guarantee.
What do you guys with of this should go for them for my residential house?Liar
They are available locally but from web search i see mainly for godowns?

they are affected very much by uv rays, they deteriorate over time

I got these done recently for my dhobhi area. Seem to be ok, and also have heat shield.
