In all that has been said today in this Nation, there are two issues I think are very important. I hope they are taken seriously/Implemented/Respected:

1. UHURU TELLS public officers agitating for more pay to drop their demands and instead concentrate on serving Kenyans.

2. Ruto REJECTS Kenya Power bid to increase power tariffs, says move will burden Kenyans; urges other ways of raising revenue.

No. 1 is roadside pronouncement and directives which we need to move away from.

No. 2 is tantamount to interference with investments since that is a public listed company.

where is the policy to manage all these happenings?

They should lead by example and shed off those fuel guzzlers , large motorcades , reduce helicopter rides and take a paycut. This will create an image to populace and other leaders that leadership is about service and not power.

No. 1 if he had said the same thing in a press room with flags behind him would it have meant the same?
No.2 Where is the investment if I have to dig into my meager savings as it were to pay a higher elec bill?

My thots exactly, HOT AIR from our youthful leaders, if they are serious, they can make this party policies and drive implementation from within their party ranks.
