My studies, thought, and overall experience as a being (including prayer and revelation), have finally brought me to a point where I can define 'religion' usefully.
To me religion is the set of acts, ideas, symbols, rituals and language that is used to remind and guide one on identity, purpose and morality.
To answer these questions, one must always look beyond himself and to a greater being. Yet this reference to a greater being must always end up with Man and God in a perfect and mutual relationship.
I have found the above ideas to be affirmed by all religion. In my quest, I have found no contention in religious truth, but instead I have found deep contention amongst believers and cultures.
I have been interested with the conflict between Christianity and Islam in particular, and my conclusion is that there is a gross misunderstanding somewhere. The two are really one.
I have looked into the archives and have seen most Wazuan sentiments on the conversion of Christians to Islam, and it has been clear to me that the objections provided by both sides haven't been satisfactory, and have been more about culture than theology.
One needs religion because of the way society is structured, and more so, the individual requires personal growth in a world with so many things that without memory life would be impossible.
Hence rituals, and gatherings, and an individual's actions.
To cut a long story short, I have decided to embrace a religion that embraces all religions.
I will pray and worship like a Muslim, upholding the straight path, meditate like Buddha, and live the Man God.
All mythology is sacred, yet our understanding is changing.
My religion must also include indiscriminate conversation and love, and a candid pursuit of truth.

Ah,tycho.I came to the same conclusion too. In my opinion no religion advocates for hate and injustices but truth and love. Uncertainty is certain.Let go
