GOK wants to sell its stake in Hilton and Intercon but non of the international brands is interested in a private buy out. If the existing shareholders will not exercise pre-emptive rights, GOK should look at ways of divesting to Wanjikus.

Two ways the GOK do so is by listing the shares on the NSE or by consolidating the hotels properties and divesting through a REIT?

I'd suggest shares. But then I am finding this privatization business a bit tricky.
