Is Mudavadi settling for "Samsons option" in his dealing with Uhuru and Ruto!

Listening to Mudavadi last evening on Citizen TV, he came out as saying that it is a serious matter for which there can be no winners but only losers!

His explanation in broader term seemed to be -

Uhuru and Ruto initiated the affair by driving to his home and offered him a coalition deal with a plausible explanation as to why they had found it necessary to take that move.

This culminated in signing of agreements drafted and witnessed by Lawyers as well as the three politicians themselves.

The two agreements were interlinked and made reference to each other, or one refered to the other.

That, by Uhuru reneging on his undertaking that he signed before a lawyer is a SERIOUS MATTER!

He further explained that the talked about delegates conference is untenable as the three of them are not even delegates of UDF/TNA/URP since they are currently still MPs sponsored by different parties.

In any case, going for nominations by delegates would in itself be overturning the already signed document as the matter was discussed and settled on.

Again all the three parties are fairly young and have not had time to arrange grassroots elections to get delegates.

Essentially therefore, what Uhuru and by extention Ruto are saying is insincere and unsustainable.

What I read in all these, given the line Mudavadi seemed to take in the interview yesterday, he intends to pay Uhuru and Ruto in their own coin.

It could get messy (pun not intended) for both sides politicaly.

he also questioned why when choosing UK no delegates were involved it was a boardroom decision with the deal with WSR but TNA member what to subject him to a nomination process before handing him the jubilee mantle.The next episode is tomorrow the trio will be in nyeri for a joint rally

Mudavadi says he will attend the joint Jubilee Coalition rallies in Nyeri & Tononoka but non-committal on Sunday's primaries....
